Remembering Together: Honouring Remembrance Day with Sykes Stairlifts.

Each year, on the 11th of November, we come together to honour and remember those who served and sacrificed in times of war. Remembrance Day is more than just a date on the calendar – it’s a chance to reflect on the incredible courage of individuals who risked, and sometimes gave, their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy today.

At Sykes Stairlifts, we recognise the importance of honouring this day, especially because so many of our clients and team members have personal connections to this history. It’s a time to reflect on the incredible spirit, dedication, and resilience of those who served, and to share stories that keep their memories alive.

Whether it’s through attending a local Remembrance Day service, wearing a poppy, or simply taking a moment of silence, there are so many ways to get involved. We encourage everyone to find their way of paying tribute this year – even from home, there are meaningful ways to participate.
