I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to…

John Sykes – That’s my Dad
He has been in the industry for years. He is the guru of stairlifts. After gaining experience in all manor of electrical and mechanical fields in the industry he eventually progressed to installing and maintaining stairlifts. Eventually setting up business on his own. Firstly the business started as just Dad and Alison (his wife) keeping him in line and looking after calls and admin.

Mum has now retired and has an even more important role in looking after Grandson Archie. A budding engineer!

As things started to grow he had to also make a family recruitment and son Tom became a member. He worked alongside dad whilst studying at University as they covered thousands of miles installing platform lifts all over the UK.

As time passed by the business started to expand even further and started to realise that he may have to make more recruitments!

That’s where I come in…

Nicola Sykes – Daughter to John Sykes
As I like to call myself. THE BOSS! I have worked for the company for 7 years now starting off as a bit of a ‘Girl Friday’. I am the one who likes to keep an organised ship running. I deal with our accounts, administration and our customers. If there is a problem with the stairlift, I am on the case and get our engineers sent out straight away. Also I am here for a good old chin wag and I make a mean cuppa. You will find me mostly in our showroom at Woodseats.

John Scaife
A skilled engineer in his own right and has worked for the company for almost 10 years.

Davis Scaife – Son of John
David has worked for us since being 16 progressing to a valued member of the team.

Joel Woodman – Our lasted recruit
Joel is able to turn his hand at the many tasks required to keep us up and running and on top of those emergency breakdowns we encounter.
